STUDENT MUST LEARN THE MAIN SURGICAL TECHNIQUES AND KNOWS THE COMPLICATIONS AND SIDE EFFECTS FROM THE DIETISTIC POINT OF VIEW.

- introduction to the course
• total parenteral nutrition in surgical patients;
• fast track surgery
• resumption of oral nutrition after major abdominal surgery
• Postoperative malnutrition
• radical gastrectomy: complications and postoperative diet
• Obesity surgery: sleeve gastrectomy and gastric bypass
• Surgery large obese: biliary-pancreatic diversion (Scopinaro technique)
• complications after obesity surgery
• Metabolic surgery: the diabetic patient
