Development of the course

The course aims to propose an approach to psychological clinic aimed at the acquisition of knowledge elements that allow the student to orient themselves on some issues constitutive of his future profession of nursing, such as:

• basic psychodynamic of his professional identity

• the characteristics and problems of the helping relationship in health care settings

• the communication and interpersonal skills that qualify the encounter with the patient

• attention to the psychological implications of the condition of the disease in different areas of the clinic and in steps "critical" of people's lives

On the whole, the course will emphasize the importance of subjective meaning that takes the patient's symptom experience.

Learning outcomes

Accompany student in the approach to discipline, in reading methodologies, studies and clinical research aimed at promoting greater awareness of the dynamics that exist in the processes of care and therapeutic relationships. This path is thought of in terms of a promotion of personal growth courses and professional.
