Development of the course

The course aims to introduce the basic elements that characterize the general and social pedagogy, highlighting also the implications and the impact at the level of education and training. In addition, the focus of attention will shift around an analysis of socio-educational animation as a "tool" and educative "style" for  social projects.

Learning outcomes

 Analyze the meanings of pedagogy  starting from the epistemological framework towards implications on the action and education on current projects guidelines. Explore and focus on some places and practices of education, inquiring about the ongoing research of skills. Carry out an in-depth thematic socio-educational animation as a way of education.

• The structure of the "pedagogical discourse" and its object of study;

• Aims, purpose and dimensions of education;

• Interactions and educational relationship;

• The origins of social-educative animation;

• Animation and social life;

• Social development and role of the animator.
