Programma

 History of computers, The measurement units of information (hertz and bytes) The

components of a computer: hardware, software. The commonly used peripherals: mouse, keyboard,

monitor, printer, memory and volatile memory . operating system, the file system, folders and directories,

and the desktop. Precautions in the use of external memory. USB sticks, floppy disks, CDs and DVDs.

Computer networks: local resources / network resources, network protocols, network devices. The use of

WiFi in the ward and operating room. Elements of knowledge about clients, servers, and databases. The

programs of individual productivity (Microsoft Office / Open Office). The e-mail, Internet browsing, Intranet.

What to do when the computer detects a virus. What to do when the computer is turned on or you forget

the password. minimum standards notions for diagnosis of a problem on your computer
