Learning outcomes

Ability to recognize and classify the neurological signs and symptoms in general and in the specific context of the diseases of the Nervous System. Knowledge of monitoring and evaluation scales in use in the major neurological diseases. Knowledge of how to conduct appropriate care in dealing with critical episodes. Knowledge of procedures to assist in the correct lumbar puncture.

The main anatomo-clinical syndromes. The main neurological signs and symptoms. State of altered  consciousness. The main cerebrovascular  diseases. Epilepsy and epileptic  seizures. Head and spinal cord trauma. The main degenerative diseases of the Nervous System. The demyelinating diseases. The headaches. The main diseases of the peripheral neuron. Intracranial hypertension.Lumbar puncture.
