Prerequisites

Basic knowledge and, specifically, in relation to aspects related to the nursing process, the method of approach of problem solving, operational tools such as documentation of care, protocols and procedures, the regulations concerning the nursing profession and their professional responsibilities, administrative, ethical, civil and criminal penalties.

  Basic skills in the care of the patient through the methodology of the nursing process for the identification of nursing diagnoses and collaborative problems Nanda and grading and Nic Noc, skills in the use of care documentation, in the implementation methodology and reading protocols and procedures.

Ability to connect and give congruence, operationally, the reference models of nursing care and the methods and tools of the nursing process.

Development of the course

Lectures, presentation, analysis and exercise of cases reported to the organization and management of the care process from the perspective of team work, delegation / allocation of assets, the exercise of professional responsibility, the identification of operational tools and congruent organizational pathways of relevance.

Learning outcomes

At the end of the course the student will be able to:

• Describe the elements of a health care organization and the different organizational possibilities of nursing.
• Develop the ability of organizational analysis within a working reality
• Know and identify the frame of reference of the various types of organizational models
• To know and to identify ways and means to operate under the effectiveness / efficiency
• Know and identify the organizational and process that can identify the role of the citizen within the health system
• Describe the possible functions and articulations of the Service Areas of Health Professions and organizational relationships of the nursing system company
• Know the rules related to the specific professional and regulations of the support staff
• Know and identify the responsibilities of the various stakeholders in the processes of integration
• Describe the different types of professional practice
• Describe the professional organization
• Understand and identify contents and paths for continuing education and the nursing staff in the ECM system
• Describe the elements of the legislation related to the rights and duties and to the professional development and career of nursing staff in accordance with the provisions of the contract

ANALYSIS OF THE ORGANIZATION / ORGANIZATIONAL MODELS : interpret the analysis model of the organization , the organization in health care facilities , and the evolution of organizational structures (departments , junctional homogeneous networks , the role of the citizen in Sn ), the Department of the health professions / service -Area nursing ; workload and personnel management

RESPONSIBILITY  LEGAL -ADMINISTRATIVE OF THE NURSE : Profile of the operators of the media, the delegation; allocate operations support personnel

WORKING IN TEAM : networking , integration tools ; plan of activities ; manage care for groups of patients ; manage care processes ( for homework, team , primary care , case management

IMPROVING THE QUALITY  OF ASSISTANCE

EMPLOYMENT CONTRACT : rights and duties ; career development , professional development

Development of the examination

Written test mixed between multiple choice quizzes (10) and analysis of a case in the variables organizational and managerial learned.

Products of the group work.

Oral examination for those who will be interested in an eventual revaluation after the results of previous evaluations.
