Development of the course

The course aims to provide students with an advanced knowledge of the morphology of the human body, from the macroscopic level to the microscopic and ultrastructural aspects.

Learning outcomes

At the end of the course, the students must have acquired enough anatomical knowledge to understand, in the following teaching courses, the physiological and pathological processes of the main organs and systems of the human body.

Program

The eucaryotic cell: ultrastructural aspects and main cellular functions. The tissues. General morpho-functional aspects of skin, muscles, joints and bones. The cardiovascular apparatus. Blood and hematopoiesis. The lymphatic system. The respiratory apparatus. The digestive tract. The urinary apparatus. Male and female genital tracts. The endocrine system. General organization of the central and peripheral nervous system.
