Learning outcomes
to provide the students with the skills required to translate to the bedside the basic knowledge gained through the previous courses of the first three year of medical school, with the aim of preparing the students to face the clinical teachings of the second triennium of medical school
Program
Respiratory Diseases. Etiology, pathogenesis, epidemiology, semeiotics, methodological and diagnostic approach of: 1) chronic obstructive pulmonary diseases; 2) pneumonia; 3) systemic infections with lung involvement; 4) respiratory failure; 5) interstitial lung disease; 6) pulmonary arterial hypertension; 7) pleuritis.
Hematologic Diseases. Etiology, pathogenesis, epidemiology, semeiotics, methodological and diagnostic approach of: 1) anemia; 2) hemostasis; 3) myeloproliferative and lymphoproliferative disorders.
Liver Diseases. Etiology, pathogenesis, epidemiology, semeiotics, methodological and diagnostic approach of: 1) jaundice; 2) hepatic failure; 3) portal hypertension; 4) acute and chronic hepatitis.
Immune System Diseases. Etiology, pathogenesis, epidemiology, semeiotics, methodological and diagnostic approach of: 1) organ-specific and non-organ-specific autoimmune diseases; 2) vasculitis; 3) allergic disorders.
