Nursing obstetrician gynaecolgical Science (III), 2°year 2°half-year
The student must know the scope and the significance of health education and its application in the obstetrician field.
Historical/Cultural evolution of the concept of health and wellbeing, worldwide health, general health, sexual and reproductive health; paradigms of health and wellbeing, health indicators.
Structures and Regulations introduced with the scope of promoting health: Centers providing health and social services (benchmark legislation, welfare models); The Maternal Infant Mission (content, application and relative legislation)
Aid paths oriented towards the promotion of health, primary healthcare, secondary healthcare and tertiary healthcare; planning and participation in health educational programs that promote healthy lifestyles (with a focus on the prevention of tobacco addiction, obesity, food disorders, sedentary lifestyles; and programs targeted towards adolescents, an area in schools dedicated to fertile women, climacteric women, and for female immigrants.)
Health and wellbeing of women in the reproductive field: Sexual and reproductive educational programs, prevention of sexually transmitted diseases, correct management of the Vaginal ecosystem, protection of responsible maternity and paternity with reference to specific legislation (D. Lgs 151/2001, L 194/78), contraception and the prevention of voluntary termination of pregnancy.
Prevention of tumors within the female genital area: planning and participation in prevention programs utilizing screening tests. Pap test, mammography, breast self-exam, mammary echography. Midwife and oncology aid.
Aid paths in the field of gynecology: clinical evaluation of the pelvic floor, rehabilitation treatments, dysfunction prevention.
