Program

The course is intended to focus the following statistical methods using R as statistical software:

1 Statistical methods for the synthesis and the graphical representation of qualitative and quantitative (methods for archive data; type of variables; indexes of centrality and variability)

2 Probability and its application (definition of probability, conditional probability, Bayes theorem; validity a diagnostic test; the normal distribution)

3 Statistical inference and its application (sample distribution; parameter; estimate; estimator)

4 Point and interval estimation of a mean, a difference between two means.
