Basic knowledge of principles of anatomy, physiology and general pathology.

Development of the course

The course lays the foundation for learning the diagnosis and treatment of major cardiovascular diseases.

Learning outcomes

Familiar in the detection of parameters and data, knowledge of the signs and symptoms: proper execution of the electrocardiogram; principles of reading the ECG tracings; recognize the main clinical syndromes; manage urgent cardiological.

Program

General considerations. Cardiovascular risk factors, physical examination of the heart and circulation, normal heart function and principles of electrocardiography, arterial hypertension, heart failure, acute coronary syndromes, pulmonary embolism, cardiac arrest.
