Knowledge of biology and general chemistry.
The course is divided into frontal lessons, and theoretical-practical exercises.
The topics of the monographic course are necessary to what is present in the main Biochemistry course and to understand also the topics that will be subsequently proposed in other courses (eg Clinical Biochemistry, Hematology etc.).
The topics of the program are necessary to the practical knowledge of the profession and to understand the topics that will be discussed later on in other disciplines
Through the acquisition of the knowledge provided by the Monographic Course, and through the ability to understand their application in the professional field, the student is able to acquire additional skills useful for the understanding of simple clinical cases that may arise during the specialistic field.
Blood, general concepts; blood composition; blood count; erythrocytes, erythrocyte metabolism; leukocytes, leukocyte metabolism; platelets; platelet metabolism; coagulation; hemoglobin and myoglobin; hemoglobinopathies; blood groups; hematopoiesis; plasma and plasma proteins; plasma markers; lipidomics.
The assessment of learning is done through a written test, multiple-choice test, after checking the presence during the frontal lessons.
The assessment of learning is aimed at assessing the acquired knowledge and skills.
The final vote is articulated in /30 and will be reached when the vote is equal to or greater than 18/30. Praise is expected in the event of a final vote of not less than 30/30.
